Azerbaijan sees rise in gasoline production

Azerbaijan produced oil products worth AZN 1.295 billion in January-May 2020, up 2% from the previous year.
Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee, that gasoline production rose by 1.2% to 505,900 tonnes, diesel production increased by 5% to 930,600 tonnes, furnace oil surged 17.4% to 38,500 tonnes, lubricating oil went up 61.2% to 10,800 tonnes, and oil bitumen climbed 37.2% to 99,900 tonnes.
Production of gasoline for the petrochemical industry declined by 3.5% to 131,600 tonnes, kerosene production dropped by 13.6% to 219,900 tonnes, and petroleum coke production fell 6.7% to 95,200 tonnes.
