Azerbaijan sees 0.1% growth in oil production, 3.5% in gas production

Baku. 17 November. REPORT.AZ/ Production in the mining industry of Azerbaijan in January-October 2018 amounted to AZN 29.3 billion, down 0.1% from previous year, Report informs.

According to the State Statistical Committee, crude oil production made up 32.2 million tonnes, marketable gas production – 15.6 billion cubic meters, relevantly up 0.1% and 3.5% in comparison to a year earlier.

In the reporting period, production of crude oil (including gas condensate) remained unchanged at 32,248,200 tonnes. As of November 1, 2018, finished products stood at 284,400 tonnes, of which 32,205,500 tonnes are marketable crude oil, up 0.1% by contrast to 2017.

Gas production in January-October 2018 made up 24,971,900,000 cubic meters, which is 5.6% higher than 2017. Of this, 15,587,900 cubic meters are marketable gas, up 3.5% in comparison to a year earlier.
