Azerbaijan’s main pipelines transport 29.4 million tonnes of oil this year

Azerbaijan’s oil pipelines transported 29,381,800 tonnes of oil in January-September 2019, down 4.86% from the previous year, Report informs citing the State Statistical Committee (SSC).

According to the SSC, 80.5% or 23,648,200 tonnes of transportation were carried out via Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC).

In the reporting period, the BTC also transported 3,431,400 tonnes of transit oil, down 28.3% from 2018.

Azerbaijani oil is also transported via Baku-Supsa and Baku-Novorossiysk pipelines.
