Azerbaijan resumes export of electrical wires to 3 countries

In January-October 2022, 3,856 tons of electrical wires worth $35.293 million were imported to Azerbaijan from abroad.

According to Report’s calculations based on the data of the State Statistics Committee, this is 7.8% less in value and 18% in quantitative terms compared to the previous year.

Turkiye exported 1,826 tons (-4.7%) for $13.355 million (+11.1%), China exported 849.16 tons (+45%) for $5.511 million (+55%), the UK 90.44 tons (-71%) for $3.21 million (-36%), the US 51 tons (+4.3 times) for $2.774 million (+2.5 times), Russia 221 tons (-69%) for $1.927 million (-51%).

During the reporting period, 1,219 tons (+99%) of wires were exported from Azerbaijan for $5.574 million (+72%). Azerbaijan has resumed exports to Romania, Belarus and Norway.
