Azerbaijan produced 20.3 billion cubic meters of gas this year

Azerbaijan extracted 20.3 billion cubic meters of gas in six months of this year, Report informs, citing data from the Ministry of Energy on oil and gas production in the country from January through June of this year.
According to the information, the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli block of fields ensured 6.4 billion cubic meters of gas, and Shahdeniz accounted for 10 billion cubic meters.
The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) produced 3.9 billion cubic meters of gas in this period.
The volume of extracted gas has risen by 5.1% or 990 million cubic meters compared to the same period of the last year.
