Azerbaijan preparing implementation plan for National Hydrogen Strategy

Azerbaijan is currently preparing an implementation plan for its National Hydrogen Strategy, Report informs, citing statements by Head of the Hydrogen and Green Technologies Department at the Azerbaijan Renewable Energy Agency Fuad Mushtagov during the webinar "Infrastructure Development, E-Mobility and Renewable Energy Storage Solutions in Azerbaijan."

"At this stage, Azerbaijan is drafting this plan, and DNV Energy Systems is conducting a relevant study to support its formation. The plan encompasses nine key areas, including stakeholder engagement, regulatory framework and commercial terms, market regulation, public infrastructure requirements, value creation and capacity building, establishment of hydrogen clusters and production of hydrogen derivatives, and a clear roadmap for concrete action. The primary objective is to transition from a strategic vision to practical implementation," Mushtagov noted.
