Azerbaijan posts 8% decline in electricity production

According to operational data for January-March 2024, total electricity production in Azerbaijan amounted to 7,129.3 million kWh, down 626.9 million kWh, or 8.08%, from the same period 2023, Report informs, citing the Ministry of Energy.
In March alone, electricity production made up 2,442.9 million kWh, down 136.4 million kWh, or 5.29%, from a year earlier.
