Azerbaijan posts 6% increase in oil production

Azerbaijan has produced nearly 8.7 million tons of oil and over 11.3 billion cubic meters of gas in Q3, 2021.
Report informs, citing the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), that oil production has grown by 6%, and gas extraction rose by 38.6% from the same period last year.
The growth in oil production was mainly linked to a relative softening of restrictions on production as part of the OPEC+ deal.
