Azerbaijan more than quadruples profit from gas exports to Bulgaria

In January-August of this year, Azerbaijan exported 667,709,920 cubic meters of natural gas worth $261,533,760 to Bulgaria, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

This is 413,492,420 cubic meters (2.6-fold) more than in the first 8 months of 2022 in quantitative terms, and $203,957,230 (4.5-fold) in value terms.

According to customs declarations, in January-August of this year, Azerbaijan exported 10,452,178,820 cubic meters of natural gas worth $17,391,448,110.

The share of natural gas in the total exports of Azerbaijan is 42.92%.
