Azerbaijan dispatches another batch of humanitarian aid to Ukraine

Azerbaijan has sent another shipment of humanitarian aid to Ukraine, consisting of electrical equipment, Report informs.

The aid was dispatched from Sumgayit Technologies Park.

In accordance with the Decree by President Ilham Aliyev dated February 5, 2025, funds in the manat equivalent of one million US dollars were allocated for this purpose. This initial shipment includes electrical cables, wires, and transformers, as requested by Ukraine to restore electricity supply in war-affected areas.

To date, Azerbaijan has provided over $40 million in humanitarian and reconstruction aid to Ukraine. By 2025, nearly 120 transformers and complete transformer stations, around 70 generators, and more than 3.3 million meters of cables and wires have been sent.

Representatives from the Azerbaijani Ministry of Energy and the Ukrainian Embassy in Baku participated in the dispatch of the aid.
