Azerbaijan becomes Georgia's largest diesel fuel supplier

In 2021, Georgia imported 215,872 tons of diesel fuel from Azerbaijan, 1 ton more than in 2020, Report informs, citing the Union of Oil Product Importers of Georgia.

Imports from Azerbaijan accounted for 38.4% of Georgia's total imports, and Azerbaijan was the largest supplier of diesel fuel to Georgia. Turkmenistan is the largest gasoline and diesel fuel supplier to the Caucasian country.

In 2021, Georgia imported 561,526 tons of diesel fuel, 0.7% less when compared to 2020.
