Fortunately, they enjoy all conditions for their self-expression. In the era of computer technologies they can easily travel dozens of kilometers to get the information they need only a click away. Moreover, our young people have a penchant for modern trends. Young people in Azerbaijan seek to live independently - OPINIONS

Azerbaijan brings up smart and modern young people able to express their views freely and openly. Fortunately, they enjoy all conditions for their self-expression. In the era of computer technologies they can easily travel dozens of kilometers to get the information they need only a click away. Moreover, our young people have a penchant for modern trends. They build their business ties in a modern way, are interested in social trends and seek to adjust those tendencies to the conditions of their country. Foreign countries are not tantalizing their minds too much. Having studied in a foreign country, they return home. And this is clear because there is no place like home. With the skills and knowledge they obtained, they are modernizing the working activity in Azerbaijan.

By sharing his thoughts about the modern youth with Report, professor at the Azerbaijan State Economic University (UNEC) Nazim Jafarsoy called it the most dynamic category of population: "The role and importance of youth is growing day by day. Undoubtedly it is the youth that builds our future. Proper education and knowledge obtained while studying abroad become their useful adjunct."

Our interlocutor added that Azerbaijani teenagers are as good as their peers in the issue of educating abroad, achieving excellent results. "Upon completing their stidies abroad, our young people strive to get back home to use their knowledge here. Certainly, education plays an exceptional role in forming a personality," Jafarsoy said.

Education expert Araz Aslanly stressed the growing tendency of studying in foreign countries after completing secondary education at home: "This successful dynamics continues, enabling the young people to apply their creative potential both abroad and in their own country. At first stages, few would return back, but over the past years, mostly owing to the created conditions and competitive salaries, our young people return home having completed their studies abroad. Our teenagers, who studied in the Eastern European countries, get employed there and earn a good salary. In contrast to the previous years, the education opportunities have grown wider and there is much higher possibility of returning home. The craving for advanced studies expands the outlook of our young people. Azerbaijani youth is smart, modern and can express their views freely and openly. The wider their background, the better they will resist the external trends. It is no less important to attract foreign specialists to the educational process in our country," Aslanly said.

Psychologist, specialist in neutrolinguistic programming Babek Bayramov noted that the dynamics of youth development is encouraging: "The modern youth are inseparable from the advanced technologies almost from their birth day, therefore, they have more creative approaches. While in the 80-90s, young people sought for help from their parents and the state, today the modern youth seeks to start in life on their own. They are getting stronger with every passing day. And the one thing that I noticed is that some thirty years ago the young people sought to get employed in state institutions, while today more people want to try their chances in business. And the successful application of modern technologies in our country encourages them and makes them closer to the success. New trends such as blogging, online-business, SMM, which widely involve young people, have emerged. The interest to education is growing steadily. Young people started to read more, there is hardly a place in the reading halls of the libraries. Our young people are not satisfied with the academic knowledge, but seek to attend all possible courses and trainings. There were no such tendencies just a few years ago. Youth policy in our country is quite successful. Our young people strive for innovative approaches and put forward quite ambitious projects."
