World population to reach 7.444 billion by January 1

Report informs, the US Census Bureau experts said.

Scientists recall that in 2011, the world's population was estimated at $ 7 billion. According to forecasts, this figure will be 9 billion by 2050.

According to China's estimates, over the next three years the country's population will increase by 20 million and reach 1.42 billion in 2020.

The second most populated country is India (about 1.35 billion people) and the third is the United States (326.6 million).
