​"What do I know about Azerbaijan?" contest starts in Lithuania

Baku. 27 January. REPORT.AZ/ Lithuania has launched the essay contest under the title “What do I know about Azerbaijan?”.

Report informs citing the Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Lithuania, the contest is held for the second time.

Ministry of Youth and Sports of Azerbaijan Republic in cooperation with the Ministry of External Foreign Affairs  had approved the contest.

According to the information, the contest is open for School pupils: aged 14-18 and students and young researchers aged 19-29. Essays should not be more than 2500 words. Essays should be written in English.

The jury commission will choose the best 10 essays, thoroughly checking thescientific validityof the written materials,literature reviews, references andhistorical resourcesthat will be used. The winners will be sent to Azerbaijan for the duration of 7-10 days, for the cultural exchange program, which will include the trips to the historical places of the country.
