A weak G1 geomagnetic storm is expected today and tomorrow, Report informs, citing the Nasiraddin Tusi Shamakhi Astrophysical Observatory.
The observatory said that if the streams reach Earth simultaneously, the storm could intensify to G2 level.
Solar wind speeds are expected to remain above normal on August 11-12 due to the anticipated impact of coronal mass ejections (CMEs) and coronal hole high-speed streams.
