Unvaccinated teachers won't be involved in education process in Azerbaijan, official says

There are some teachers who haven't been vaccinated yet, the head of the Baku City Education Department Mehriban Valiyeva told journalists.
Report informs, citing Valiyeva, that these teachers are not involved in the education process.
The department chief said that this issue is the responsibility of the school administration.
She noted that teachers must present a COVID-19 passport, immunity, or contraindication certificate to be involved in the process.
"If more than 80% of the school staff is vaccinated, the education process can be regulated in such a school. As all these requirements have been met, all 310 schools of the city have returned to in-person tuition," she added.
