Baku. 12 August. REPORT.AZ/ August 12 is celebrated as International Youth Day.
Report informs, International Youth Day was set by the General Assembly on 17 December 1999 at the suggestion of the World Conference of Ministers responsible for Youth, held in Lisbon, 8-12 August 1998.
For the first time the International Youth Day was celebrated on August 12, 2000.
