S. Korean Embassy in Azerbaijan opens applications for 2027 GKS undergraduate program

The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Azerbaijan has announced the start of accepting applications for the 2027 Global Korea Scholarship (GKS) program for undergraduate studies.

As the diplomatic mission informed Report, Azerbaijani citizens under the age of 25 are eligible to participate in the program.

The embassy noted that the scholarship covers university tuition, a preparatory Korean language program, airfare, and a monthly stipend for living expenses, accommodation, health insurance, and other costs stipulated by the program.

Applications from Azerbaijani citizens will be accepted exclusively through the website www.studyinkorea.go.kr from 06:00 on September 15, 2026, until 13:00 Baku time on September 30, 2026.

The deadline for document submission, along with the schedule for document review and interviews, will be published separately on the embassy's official website.
