Rating of world's top universities in 2017 published

Baku. 21 June. REPORT.AZ/ British magazine Times Higher Education published World University Rankings 2016-2017.

Report informs, rating includes 980 universities from different countries, including 400 universities in Europe.

Four British universities ranked among top 5 European universities. University of Oxford takes the first place, followed by University of Cambridge and the Imperial College London. Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich ranks the 4th. The fifth is University College London (UCL).

According to the magazine, University of Oxford is the 1st in world rating, the second - California Institute of Technology (USA), third Stanford University (USA).

The universities were evaluated according to their educational, research environment, industry incomes and international prospects.

None of the Azerbaijani universities, as in previous years, was included in the rating.

17 universities of Turkey, 24 of Russia, also, 13 Iranian universities were included in the list.
