Parents of students, not attending lessons will be fined 100 manats

Baku. 2 December. REPORT.AZ/ Parents of students, missing lessons more than 7 days in a month in Azerbaijan will be fined 100 manats.

Report informs, changes will be made to Administrative Offences Code.

According to changes, penalty in the amount of 100 manats will be applied for missing lessons on secular and compulsory general secondary education more than 7 days in a month, excluding reasons defined by relevant authority of executive power.

Draft amendment discussed in the joint session of Legal Policy and State Building Committee and Public Associations and Religious Organizations Committee of parliament today and recommended to plenary session of Milli Majlis to be held on December 4.
