Number of Azerbaijani students in Russia made public

Baku. 11 October. REPORT.AZ/ Nearly 15,000 Azerbaijani students study in Russia, Report informs citing Russian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mikhail Bocharnikov at the 12th Azerbaijan international educational exhibition that has opened in Baku.

"Humanitarian cooperation is one of the priority areas for us. At present, nearly 15,000 Azerbaijani students study in Russian universities. We do everything that students from Azerbaijan are more interested in our universities," he said.

The Ambassador also stressed that individual contacts at the level of universities also give an impetus to the development in the humanitarian sphere, in particular, the Association of Azerbaijani and Russian universities, established in 2015, plays a special role in this regard.
