New specialties introduced at Italy-Azerbaijan University

New specialties in Communication Design and Urban Planning have been presented at the Italy-Azerbaijan University's Faculty of Design and Architecture.

Report informs that ADA University has increased the number of programs offered within the Italy-Azerbaijan University project by adding two more bachelor's specialties.

At the event held for this occasion, the rector of ADA University, representatives of relevant state institutions, and Italian experts made speeches.

In his speech, Rector Hafiz Pashayev stated that there is a need for specialists in urban planning and design who possess modern knowledge, world experience, and are aware of the latest approaches:

"Our goal in presenting new specialties is to meet this need by training local professionals."

Anar Guliyev, Chairman of the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture of Azerbaijan, stated that since the development of residential areas affects the improvement of the population's quality of life and urban environment, there is a need for personnel who can properly manage this process:

"Successful steps will be taken in this direction through new programs in Communication Design and Urban Planning."
