Baku. 6 February. REPORT.AZ/ Ministry of Education has clarified the issue of whether measles and A (H1N1) virus are spread among schoolchildren and teachers in Azerbaijan.

Report informs citing the Ministry that no official information was provided to the Ministry of Education on the spread of the viruses among schoolchildren and teachers.

Notably, Chief infectiologist of the republic Jalal Isayev said that the incidence cases were commonly observed among elderly people and students of schools and universities.

Deputy Director of the Republican Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology of the Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Health Afag Aliyeva said that 55 incidence cases of measles were confirmed during December.

In addition, chief epidemiologist Ibadulla Aghayev said that none of the people infected with 16 A / H1N1 in Azerbaijan has been hospitalized, all of them are in a satisfactory state.
