Today, training specialists with multidisciplinary and innovative thinking is one of the main challenges.
Report informs that Gulchohra Mammadova, Rector of Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction and professor, said this at an event held as part of WUF13 in Baku.
According to her, in the modern era, urban planning is not only about planning physical spaces, but also about shaping social well-being, environmental security, economic sustainability and a human-centered development model.
"Today, one of the most important global challenges in housing policy and urban governance is training flexible, multidisciplinary specialists with innovative thinking who are capable of responding to rapidly changing global realities," she said.
