State Examination Center announces entrance exams for colleges

Baku. 22 February. REPORT.AZ/ The State Examination Center (DIM) has announced student admission to secondary educational institutions of Azerbaijan on the basis of general secondary education (9 years) for 2019/2020 academic year.

Report informs citing the Center that admission of applications to secondary special education institutions will be conducted through Internet till March 11.

Admission exams are held in two stages. On the first stage of the exam, applicants are set 45 tasks in total: 20 questions in Azerbaijani language (Russian), 10 in mathematics and 15 in foreign language. 3 hours are given to complete the tasks.

In the second stage, the candidates are set 90 closed questions : 30 questions in each subject- Azerbaijani language (Russian), Mathematics and foreign languages. 3 hours are given to complete the tasks.

Applicants who do not take part in the first stage of the admission exams will not be allowed to the second stage, while the applicants who do not attend the second stage is not allowed to choose specialty. If the current year graduate fails to take the exam at any stage of the final exam, he/she shall not be allowed to choose specialty.

The results of the admission exams are valid for 2 years.

The competition is based on the total score collected by the applicants in the entrance exams.
