Education Ministry on foreign nationals studying in Azerbaijan

The Ministry of Education has clarified the issue of international students in Azerbaijani universities, Report informs.

Since foreign citizens from 42 countries can enter the country, the participation of international students in face-to-face education is provided.

Citizens of other countries who have an active temporary residence permit can also enter the country to attend in-person classes:

"A petition was filed with the relevant organization to involve other international students in face-to-face learning. Local universities have been instructed to consider the issue of organizing the educational process of foreign citizens in other forms within the powers of Academic Councils of universities before allowing them to enter the country."
