Minister of Education Emin Amrullayev has said the decision on reopening schools on September 22 is due to an increase in infection cases.
Report informs that, according to minister, this is the optimal decision.
"We believe that by the indicated time, more people will be vaccinated, and we will see a decline in cases. In general, instead of opening and closing schools, it is better to ensure the sustainability of the education process," he said.
The minister added that the days missed due to late reopening would be compensated for during November holidays.
