Department Chief comments on lessons' cancellation at schools during Baku 2017

Baku. 14 April. REPORT.AZ/ The Baku city Education Department has clarified the changes to the classes at Baku schools during the 4th Islamic Solidarity Games in Baku, to start from May 12.

Report informs, Department Chief Mahabbat Valiyeva said that taking into account that the Games are high international event as well as its importance, Baku city Education Department is responsible for fulfillment of the tasks set forth to the secondary schools.

She noted that the Department carries out organization and control over this activity: "In such cases, we take into account timely implementation and completion of academic programs as a main purpose. Therefore, participation of Baku school will be provided in the event without hindering academic program.

Special organizational works are underway in this regard. However, the Education Ministry has not given any instruction to us so far regarding cancelation of classes during the Games. If any instructions given, then we will fulfill the task".
