BHOS teacher awarded “Tereggi” medal

Baku. 7 March. REPORT.AZ/ Upon an order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, a group of Azerbaijani women was awarded with ‘Tereggi’ (Prosperity) medal for their active and fruitful participation in the social life of the country and on the occasion of the International Women’s Day on March 8.

Associate professor of Petroleum Engineering department of Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) Khanum Jafarova is among the recipients of this honorable award.

At a meeting with the awardee, the Higher School rector Elmar Gasimov extended his congratulations to Khanum Jafarova on high appreciation of her professional activities. He wished her every success in the future and new achievements in her teaching profession and research and scientific work.

The associate professor of Petroleum Engineering department of the Higher School Khanum Jafarova is an author of more than 20 academic papers. She is also an author of “Mathematics-1” textbook for the students who receive their education in English language.

Previously, Khanum Jafarova whose teaching experience exceeds 20 years was awarded an Honorable Certificate of the Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan for her successful professional activities. She is also a recipient of the Honorable Certificate from SOCAR, which was presented to her by the company President Rovnag Abdullayev.
