Beginning date of school year in Azerbaijan rescheduled

Baku. 17 August. REPORT.AZ/ Schools and Universities in Azerbaijani will not be open on September 15 this year.
Report informs, the reason is September 15th falls on Saturday. Therefore, 2018-2019 academic year will begin on September 17.
Notably, according to the amendments made to the "Model Regulations of the General Education School" by Cabinet of Ministers Decision No. 362 of October 30, 2014, from the academic year 2015/2016 in the general education schools, the classes begin on September 15 and finish on June 14.
