Baku hosts 11th Azerbaijan International Education Exhibition

Baku. 6 October. REPORT.AZ/ With the official support of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan the 11^th Azerbaijan International Education Exhibition has today opened.

Report informs, Minister of Education Mikayil Jabbarov, heads of higher and secondary vocational education institutions and representatives of various educational institutions attended the opening ceremony.

Welcoming the participants, Minister Mikayil Jabbarov said that the exhibition, under the slogan "Human capital is our wealth," presents new projects and existing educational opportunities realized by the ministry in recent years.

He noted that exhibition provides visitors with an opportunity to look more closely at changes in the education system, get acquainted with innovative start-ups, and watch the full range of cooperation with foreign universities.

Reminding that the 2017-2018 academic year was proclaimed "Quality Year in Education", Mikayil Jabbarov said that this goal was to achieve a qualitative change in the field of education, to raise a worthy citizen for the society, to educate people who meet the demands of the 21st century and have a flexible thinking ability.

Later winners of republican and international competitions, contest winners presented their skills and performed national dances.

Then the stands were examined.

Compared with the previous years, stands of the Ministry of Education cover a wider range this year.

The exhibition presents stands of 14 higher education institutions.

This year Azerbaijan, Austria, Belarus, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Russia, Singapore, Slovakia and many other countries will present their universities, schools, colleges, training centres and courses

In general, within the framework of exhibition, which will last until October 8, visitors will be offered bachelor, master's degree programs, including foreign language courses, internships and training programs.
