Azerbaijanis living in Georgia to receive free education in Azerbaijani universities

The Azerbaijani government has allocated quotas for Georgian Azerbaijanis to study pedagogical specialties in Azerbaijani high educational institutions, Report informs citing the State Committee for Work with Diaspora.
It was noted that starting 2020-2021 academic year, Georgian Azerbaijanis will receive free education in Azerbaijani universities and will be awarded scholarships: “The Azerbaijani government has already set quotas. Education Ministries of Azerbaijan and Georgia hold negotiations in this regard, as well as to resolve the issue on employment of these educators in Azerbaijani-speaking schools in Georgia. Mechanisms for filling this quota for the next academic year will be determined."
