Azerbaijani student wins gold medal at International Olympiad in US

Azerbaijani student Gandab Mammadova won a gold medal at the International Olympiad in the United States, Report informs.

Mammadova represented Azerbaijan on the global stage of the Copernicus Olympiad over Physics and Astronomy.

Our representative won first place in the Olympiad held at Rice University, ahead of the participants of 29 countries.

Mammadova is an 11th-grade student at school number 279 in Baku.
