Azerbaijani student wins $90,000 scholarship from US university

Rashad Ahmadov, a fifth-year student of Chemical Engineering at the Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS), has the opportunity to study with a full scholarship at the doctoral level of four US universities.

According to BHOS, he received positive feedback from Tulane University, the Stevens Institute of Technology, the University of Rochester, and the University of Connecticut.

These universities have accepted Rashad Ahmadov's application for a doctoral degree in Chemical Engineering on a full scholarship.

The BHOS student evaluated the opportunities and chose the University of Rochester, which is ranked 34th among US universities. His scholarship from the University is $90,000.
