Azerbaijan to issue textbooks in languages of national minorities for primary schools

Textbooks of the Talish, Tsakhur, Khinaliq and Khaput languages for primary schools will be issued in Azerbaijan.

Work is currently underway on the textbooks of the Talish, Tsakhur, Khinaliq languages for grades I-IV and Khaput language for 1st graders.

According to the Cabinet of Ministers' report on its activity in 2022, a total of 21,700 textbooks of the Azerbaijani languge and liberature for grades I-XI were delivered by Georgian schools where all subjects are taught in Azerbaijani.

At the same time, a total of 1,500 copies of textbooks received from the Georgian Ministry of Science and Education at the request of Georgian-language schools in Azerbaijan were handed to these schools.

Sets on the subject "Language of National Minorities" have been developed for grades I-IV.
