ANAS launches annual general meeting

Baku. 29 April. REPORT.AZ/ The annual general meeting of the Presidium of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) began. 

Report informs that a report on the activities of the academy in 2014 will be presented in the event attended by the head of Presidential Administration (PA), academician Ramiz Mehdiyev. Also, the elections will be held for the positions of academician-secretary of ANAS and academician-secretary for a number of departments. The issue on the presentation of Gold Medal named after Nizami Ganjavi and awards of ANAS was included into the agenda.

Exhibits of the science departments of the academy will be presented at the meeting too.

Along with scientists and experts of ANAS institutes and organizations, the representatives of state and public organizations, relevant ministries, heads of institutes and high schools are participating the meeting.
