About 900 schools in Azerbaijan need repair

“About 900 schools in Azerbaijan are in need of repairs. Given that there are 4,400 schools in Azerbaijan, we can say that there are enough renovated schools in the country,” Report informs that Education Minister Emin Amrullayev said in a television program “QəbuldASAN”.

According to the minister, every year the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Ministry of Education overhaul a certain number of schools.

“It is impossible to repair all schools at the same time. There is a principle of priority, according to which schools that are in the most deplorable condition and with a large number of students are repaired.”
