49,833 students finish Baku school this year

In the 2018-2019 academic year, 28,993 people will finish IX grades of secondary schools under Baku City Education Department (BSTI) , while 19,786 students will graduated from XI grades, Report informs citing the Department.

45,616 people in the capital will finish I grade, while 655 people XII grade (in-person and remote full-time secondary schools and remote classes). 399 people will finish IX grades of the schools under Baku City Education Department.

In the current academic year, 424,188 students study in secondary schools under Baku City Education Department. In the 2018-2019 academic year, 23,804 children completed 919 preparation groups in 264 general education schools in the capital.

As for information on June 4 (10:00), 44875 questionnaires have been posted through the website mektebeqebul.edu.az. to the I grades of general education schools for 2018-2019 academic year.

Notably, 318 schools operate under the Baku City Education Department, including 308 general education schools, 3 private general secondary schools and 7 in-person and remote evening schools .
