Weather forecast for travellers on weekends announced

Baku. 6 July. REPORT.AZ/ The weather forecast for those travelling on the weekend has been announced.

Report informs, National Hydrometeorology Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan the air temperature will gradually drop by 4-6 degrees compared to previous days.

In Greater and Lesser Caucasus, lightning, intermittent rain is expected in some places. The temperature will be 26-31 C in foothills and 23-28 C in mountainous regions.

In Lankaran-Astara region the weather will be dry. East wind will blow. The maximum air temperature will be 30-35 degrees.

Sunny weather predicted in Aran districts. On July 7, western wind will intensify. The maximum temperature will be 35-40 degrees.

The weather is expected to be dry in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. The maximum air temperature will be 35-40 degrees.

The weather will also be dry in capital of Azerbaijan. North-western wind is expected to intensify from July 7 to July 8. Maximum air temperature will be 31-36 C.

“Windy weather will make waves in the sea, population is warned to be careful at the beaches”, - MENR informed.
