National Hydrometeorology Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources told Report that the weather in Greater and Lesser Caucasus is predicted to be rainy at times on February 16-17. Snow will fall in mountainous areas. Fog will be observed in some places. The western wind will intensify in some places.

The temperature will be +5- +9 C in the foothills and 0- +3 C in the mountainous regions.

In the Lankaran-Astara region the weather will be rainy at times. Snow in mountainous regions. The weather will be mainly dry on February 17. Mild north east wind will blow. The maximum air temperature will be +5- +8 degrees, while in mountainous regions 0- +3 degrees.

Rain predicted at times in Aran regions. It will intensify in some places. The precipitations will gradually die down on February 17 in daytime. Mild western wind will blow. The maximum air temperature will be +6- +9 C.

In the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic the weather will be rainy at times. The weather will be dry on February 17 daytime. Mild east wind will blow. The maximum air temperature will be +7- +12 C.

As for the capital Baku, the weather is expected to be rainy at times in next two days. However, precipitation is expected to intensify in some places. On February 17 precipitations will gradually die down during the daytime. Mild north-western wind will blow. The maximum air temperature will be +5- +7 degrees.
