Baku. 4 January. REPORT.AZ/ Weather forecast for those traveling on weekend has been announced.

National Hydrometeorology Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources told Report that the weather in Greater and Lesser Caucasus is predicted to be rainless.

However, on January 13, rainfall is expected in some places and snow in mountainous areas. Mild western wind will blow. The temperature will be +6- +11 C in the foothills and +3- +8 C in the mountainous regions.

In the Lankaran-Astara region the weather will be mainly rainless. However, rainfall is expected on January 13 towards the evening. East wind will prevail. The maximum air temperature will be +8- +13 degrees, while in mountainous regions +5- +10 degrees.

The weather is predicted to be dry in Aran regions. However, on January 13, rain will fall in some places. Fog will be observed in some places in the morning. The maximum air temperature will be +9- +14 C.

In the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic the weather will be mainly rainless. But precipitations expected towards the evening on January 13 and snow is also expected. The maximum air temperature will be +5- +10 C.

As for the capital Baku, the weather is expected to be changeable cloudy, occasionally gloomy and mainly rainless. However, rain is expected in some places towards the evening on January 13. The intensifying south-western wind will be replaced by north-western wind in the evening on January 13.

The maximum air temperature will be 8-12 degrees.
