Weather forecast for December has been announced in Azerbaijan.

Report informs citing National Hydrometeorology Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources that in December, the average monthly temperature is expected to be close to the climatic norm, some places will experience the temperature below the norm. Monthly precipitation is expected to be close to the climatic norm, while it will be slightly above in some regions.

In the beginning of December, the weather is expected to be rainy at times and south-west wind is expected to be replaced by strong north-west wind.

In Baku and the Absheron peninsula

The average monthly temperature is predicted to be +5+7˚C (+5+9 at night, +2+4 C on some days, +8+13˚C in the daytime, +2+5 C on some days), which is close to the climatic norm and 1 degree below.

Monthly precipitation is expected to be close to the climatic norm and a little higher in some places (norm 24-34 mm). Monthly precipitation is expected to be close to the climatic norm, and slightly higher (norm 24-34 mm) in some places.

In Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic

In Gazakh, Ganja, Goranboy, Ter-Tar, Agdam, Fuzuli, Jabrayil regions

Average monthly temperature is predicted to be +1+4 C at night (+2+6 C at night , -1-6 degrees of frost in some days, +7+12 C in the daytime and from -2 degrees of frost to +3 C in some days), which is close to the climatic norm and slightly lower.

Monthly precipitation is expected to be close to the climatic norm and slightly higher in some places (13-32 mm).

In Balakan, Zagatala, Gakh, Sheki, Oghuz, Gabala, Ismayilli, Agsu, Shamakhi, Khizi, Siyazan, Shabran, Guba, Gusar, Khachmaz regions

The average monthly temperature is expected to be 1-3 C at night (0+5 C at night, +2+7 C in some days, - 15 -20 C in high mountainous areas, +6+11 in the daytime, - 3+ 2 C in some days) which is close to the climatic norm.

Monthly precipitation is expected to be close to the climatic norm and slightly higher in some areas (norm 24-48 mm).

In Central-Aran: Mingachevir, Yevlakh, Goychay, Agdash, Kurdamir, Imishli, Agjabedi, Beylagan, Sabirabad, Bilasuvar, Saatli, Shirvan, Hajigabul, Salyan, Neftchala

Average monthly temperature is predicted to be +3+6 C (+3+8 C at night, 0-4 degrees of frost in some days, +10+15 C in the daytime, 0+5 C in some days), which is close to and below the climatic norm or 1 degree lower.

Monthly precipitaion is expected to be close to the climatic norm (norm 16-32 mm).

In Masalli, Yardimli, Lerik, Lankaran, Astara regions

The average monthly temperature is predicted to be +3+6 C at night (+2+7 C at night, -2+2 C in some days, -6-11 C in the mountains, +8+13 in daytime and +1+4 C in some days), which is close to the climatic norm and slightly lower.

Monthly precipitation is expected to be close to the climatic norm and slightly higher in some places (norm 45-106 mm).
