As of 14:00 (GMT+4) on October 9, the northwest wind in Azerbaijan had periodically increased, Report informs, citing the National Hydrometeorological Service.
The maximum wind speed reached 28 m/s in Dashkasan, 24 m/s in Gobustan, 16 m/s in Gadabay, and 22 m/s in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula.
According to the Oil Rocks station, the wave height in the Caspian Sea reached 2.6 meters.
