Unstable weather, temperature drop expected in Azerbaijan - WARNING

Baku. 5 November. REPORT.AZ/ Weather forecast for tomorrow has been announced in Azerbaijan.

Report informs citing the National Hydro Meteorology Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources that the weather in Baku and Absheron peninsula will be mainly cloudy with intermittent rain in some places on November 6. The north-west wind will intensify at times.

The temperature will be 7-10 C at night, 13-15 C in the daytime in Absheron peninsula, and 7-9 C at night, 13-15 C in the daytime in Baku.

Atmospheric pressure will rise from above the normal 765 to 770 mm mercury column; relative humidity will be 80-90 %.

Partly cloudy weather is expected in the regions of Azerbaijan. It will be intensive in some places, snow is predicted in the mountainous areas. Fog will be observed in some places in the morning. The west wind will intensify in some places.

The temperature will be 5-10 C at night, 11-16 C in the daytime, in mountains from –2 C to +3 C at night and 3-7 C in the daytime.

As for the medical-meteorological forecast, the temperature in the Absheron peninsula will drop on November 6 due to windy and wet weather, which is generally unfavourable for meteo-sensitive people.

MENR has issued a warning about changes in weather conditions. Thus, north-west wind is expected to intensify in Baku and Absheron peninsula on November 5 evening and November 6. Precipitation is predicted in some places, the temperature will drop by 3-5 degrees compared to the previous days.

In the regions of Azerbaijan, starting from the northern and western regions from November 5 evening, the weather will be unstable and rainfall is expected till the morning of November 7. Torrential rain is predicted in some places, while snow is predicted in mountainous areas. The west wind will intensify in some places. Water in rivers are likely to increase.
