Umayra Tagiyeva: Strong wind to blow in Azerbaijan from today

Baku. 5 July. REPORT.AZ/ "Strong wind will blow in Azerbaijan from this night".

Report was told by Head of the Department of Work with Social Agencies, Environmental Awareness and Science, Department of Ecological Education and Public Relations of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources Umayra Tagiyeva.

She said that north-west and north wind will intensify in Baku and Absheron peninsula on 5 and 6 July after anomalous hot weather. "As a result of this process, the temperature will drop 4-6 degrees compared to previous days ".

Regarding the weather conditions in the regions, the specialist said that short-term torrential rain predicted in the mountainous and foothill regions on July 6-7-8: “It is expected intensifying of western wind in some regions”.
