Umayra Tagiyeva: The temperature will rise to 39 degrees during Ramadan holiday

The weather forecast to be observed on Ramadan holiday in Azerbaijan has been announced.

Director of National Hydrometeorology Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources Umayra Tagiyeva told Report that the weather will be rainless on June 5-6.

According to her, sunny weather is expected in Baku and on the Absheron peninsula on June 5: "Mild north wind will blow. The temperature will be 31-36 C in the daytime. On June 6, the speed of the north wind will reach 18-20 meters per second. The temperature will be 31-36C.

The weather will be dry in the regions. But local short-term lightning and rain are predicted in some mountainous regions. Dry and hot weather will be observed in most regions.

High temperature is expected in Aran districts during two days. The maximum temperature will rise to 34-39 degrees. The temperature will make 25-30 C in the mountainous areas of the country . No serious changes are expected in the weather till the weekend. High temperature will last for the upcoming 3-4 days. "

Tagiyeva noted that the temperature was 24-25 C in Baku in the first days of June, the last year: "The temperature is 8-10C higher than June, last year. At present, 35 C is observed in Baku. The temperature is about 5-6C higher than the climate norm."
