Temperature to drop by 5-8 degrees - WARNING

The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources (MENR) has warned about the weather change.

Report informs citing the National Hydrometeorology Department of the MENR that the weather is expected to be unstable, rainy in Baku and on the Absheron peninsula from November 20 till November 22. Rain will intensify occasionally. North wind will prevail.

The temperature will be below the norm.

The weather will change in the northern and eastern regions of Azerbaijan starting from November 20 till November 23. Rain is expected. Snow is predicted in the mountainous regions and foothills. It will intensify in some places. East wind will blow and intensify occasionally in some places.

The temperature will gradually drop by 5-8 degrees. Water level will increase in the rivers. Short-term floods are predicted in some mountain rivers in the Lankaran-Astara region.
