Strong winds and high waves hit Azerbaijan

On September 21, Azerbaijan experienced unstable weather with rain, strong winds, and rough sea conditions, according to the National Hydrometeorology Service.
Wind gusts reached 25 m/s in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, while wave heights in the Caspian Sea peaked at 4.2 meters.
Heavy rainfall was recorded in several regions, with Astara receiving the highest 91 mm.
On the evening of September 20, hail fell in several regions:

In Kichik Emili village (Gabala district) around 20:15 - hailstones measured 8–10 mm

In Ismayilli district around 21:35 - 2–3 mm hailstones were reported
Fog was observed in Gryz, Lerik, and Goychay, reducing visibility to 500 meters.
