Strong wind will blow from tomorrow - WARNING

Baku. 1 August. REPORT.AZ/ The weather forecast for tomorrow in Azerbaijan was announced. Report was informed in the National Hydrometeorology Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, tomorrow the weather in Baku and Absheron peninsula will be changeable cloudy and mainly rainless. North-west wind is expected to intensify. The temperature on peninsula will be 25-27 C at night, 29-34 C in the daytime, in Baku 25-27 C at night, 31-33 C in the daytime.

Atmospheric pressure will be below the normal 755 mm mercury column, relative humidity will be 60-70 C at night and 35-40 C in the daytime.

On northern beaches of Absheron (Sumgayit, Novkhani, Pirshaghi, Nardaran, Bilgah, Zagulba) the temperature of sea water will be 26-27 degrees, while on southern beaches (Turkan, Hovsan, Sahil, Shikh) 27-28 degrees.

North-west wind will blow and will intensify. MENR warning those going to beaches to be careful.

On August 2, the weather will be mainly rainless in Azerbaijani regions, but lightning and short-term rain is expected in some northern and western regions at night and in the evening. The western wind will blow and will intensify in some places. The temperature will be 20-25 C at night, 33-38 C in the daytime, in the mountains 13-18 C at night, 22-27 C in the daytime.

As for the medical-meteorological forecast, the advantage of occasionally intensifying soft west wind on Absheron peninsula on August 2-3 is a positive factor for meteo- sensitive people.

MENR warns that, north-western wind will be intensifying in Baku and Absheron peninsula from August 2 daytime till August 4.
