Strong wind to blow in Baku tomorrow - WARNING

Weather forecast for tomorrow in Azerbaijan has been announced.

Report informs citing the National Hydrometeorology Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources that tomorrow the weather is expected to be changeable cloudy, occasionally gloomy and mostly rainless in Baku and on the Absheron peninsula.

Weak fog and drizzle will be observed in some places in the morning. Occasionally intensifying south-west wind will become strong north-west wind in the daytime. 

The temperature on the peninsula will be 14-17 C at night, 21-24 C in the daytime, in Baku 15-17 C at night, and 22-24 C in the daytime.

Atmospheric pressure will increase from 762 mm mercury column to 767 mm mercury column, relative humidity will be 70-80% at night and 50-55% in the daytime.

On October 9, the weather will be mainly rainless in the Azerbaijani regions, however lightning and rain are expected in some northern and eastern regions. Fog will be observed in some places in the morning. Strong west wind will blow.

The temperature will be 14-18 C at night, 27-32 C in the afternoon, 6-11 C at night, 14-19 C in the daytime.

As for the medical-meteorological forecast, on October 9, the occasional strong winds on the Absheron peninsula are expected to be replaced by strong northwest winds in the daytime, which is largely unfavorable for meteorological people.

The ministry also warned that on October 9 the north-west wind is expected to intensify occasionally in Baku and on the Absheron peninsula.
